  Horses can be rather tricky, I had to change the Model and Rig a few times to get the shoulder working right in animation.   Horse modeled in Zbrush, Rigged* and Animated in Softimage.

From skate deck design to mean ass Primate, one of those situations where the final piece of work  isn't really what you set out to do, I initially was going to make a vector design for a skateboard deck, one thing lead to another and ended up with this crazy looking ape.

In this project I sculpted detail and textured the Soldier and some props: M-16, crates and barrels and a wrecked car. Work done in Zbrush.

I animated the 2D boy and girl, pretty simple with some hair and clothes cycles.

With this guy I wanted to have all the typical pirate elements, ended up leaving out the eye patch, having the blind eye showing turned out better I thought. The character was also found worthy by Pixologic to be added to their Turntable Gallery, you can check it out at:

  Here is some work I've done for Lightning Box games, For "African theme" and "Under water theme" I took existing 2D games with no animated elements and gave them a 3D look with some animated elements. The gold prospector was an animated element for an existing game  All work done in Softimage, Zbrush, Photoshop and TVPaint.

I was invited to participate in this project created by "Aniboom" in memorial of 9/11. Many artists from around the globe have contributed on this special project.
When thinking about the idea I wanted to pay homage to the "Firemen" (therefore the hydrant in the scene) and also to all the people that lost loved ones in the tragedy. I did it as if it had been done by a child, to keep an innocent feel about it, because of the subjects touchy nature.
The little boy symbolizes the people who lost loved ones, looking at the ever imponant twin towers.
The hydrant symbolizes the Firemen, who are always there in situations of help for City citizens in general. The rain symbolizes the tragedy itself and the Sun rays at the end would be Heaven.
